hot sunny day

The weather here is seriously random -.- this week is going to be pretty hot from 25-30 degrees o.o I'm just wearing something simple for class tonight and I know it's going to be hot late in the afternoon, but I don't want to be cold when I come home at night either ><

UPDATE. Pur Minerals

I've been using this 4 in 1 for the past week and I'm liking it, but there are some things about this product that I'm still not too sure about. I noticed that I'm getting more breakouts? I'm not sure if this because of the product or because it's during my period >> or it could be the shea butter in the ingredients? I'm not too sure but I'm going to switch back to using my Physician's Formula face powder and see if I notice a difference in my skin.

This is great for someone who wants to even out their skin tone. I love using this on days where I'm not really going out but want to look decent if people come over. It's great for a light-medium coverage. It doesn't hide my post acne scars but it definitely brings the redness in my face down. I just use concealer and powder so if you're someone who wants full coverage, this would be good for after foundation to help set everything.

I would say it's alright at controlling oil, I still have to blot my face 1-2 times a day. It lasts about 4-5 hours, in terms of controlling the oil for me.

I like this product but I don't think I would purchase it again.

I use a short duo fibre brush for this product =]

(UPDATE: May 31)
I found out that this controls oil a tad bit better than my Physician's Formula Mineral Pressed Powder!

Emerald green

The red bag is my school/work bag =] it's a bit chilly today and I didn't feel like wearing a belt around the dress... I just wanted to feel free/casual lol I'm really into shades of green, yellow, and red lately... mainly emerald greens, mustard yellows, and burgundy reds =]

Petite Feet

I'm sure I'm not the only one with small feet. It's so difficult to find heels that fit me because my feet are so abnormally small =[ I can wear sizes 4-6... yes what a wide range... but I am technically a size 4.5-5 when it comes to wearing sandals. I can wear a size 4 when it comes to shoes designed from France, a size 5 when it is from Italy... a size 5-6 from the United States >< but I don't even own a pair of heels/pumps because I can't find one that fits me =[

I found this website online with BEAUTIFUL shoes for people with small feet because they have sizes 32-35 =o but they are quite expensive (reasonable because they are all handmade for each order). I would definitely save money for a pair... you get to even pick the height of the heels... how amazing is that!? I have so many favourites from the website >>

Here are just a tad few of my favourites... a tad.... >> (all the heels you see in this post) and I'm not a huge fan of patent leather anything... but the two below are an exception because look how cute they are =p so Chloe =]

visit their awesome website 'here' =]

Midnight Leopard

I've been wanting to do the half moon design since last fall I think... I'm not sure even when but FINALLY I've done it =p and added a leopard design to top it off! awesome. I love it <3 it's not exactly perfect but it looks lovely =]

My Darling is a Foreigner

This movie is kind of self explanatory. Click on the image to go to the link to watch it if you like =] There's also a short description of the movie on the website.

The movie is cute and I can relate to it very well.

Favourite Skincare products

01. 100% Pure Eucalyptus Seafoam Cleanser
This was one of the first products I had tried from 100% Pure and was really happy with it. This cleanser is great for oily/acne prone skin and I love how fresh this feels on your face during and after washing it off.

02. Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Cleanser/Mask
This is great for using it as a daily cleanser or a mask. I like to leave this on for 1-3 minutes when I have the extra time in the morning. It feels very cooling and fresh and especially great for the summer. it really does clean your face by removing dirt around the centre of the face.

03. Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Night Gelly
I love this night gelly. I use it as a night time moisturizer and it helps to control excess sebum. My face looks pretty good the next morning after using this. I love the texture of this product, it's amazing =] It feels really nice on the skin and I love the packaging. It also came with a small spatula to pick up the product.

04. Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Serum
I like using this serum day and night. It helps to even out the skin tone and is a great primer for the morning especially if you have oily skin. This helps to control the oil throughout the day pretty well.

05. 100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream
I love the smell of this eye cream! I don't really see a difference after using this product but I think I would buy it again because I really like the texture and smell. This also absorbs quickly. It's smells like french vanilla coffee... yum yum =p

06. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
This actually works for me. I don't care how drying it is, but it really helps with getting down to the pimple. My pimples usually go away the next morning or within' 3 days.

I want lemonade <3

Bio Oil

I recently tried to remove a tiny birthmark and it kind of left a scar -.- I've also heard good things about this removing old acne scars so I'm finally giving it a try =] This product does contain BHT (known as Butylated hydroxytoluene) which had some controversy whether it is actually linked with cancer, but there isn't anything definite about this ingredient so I will let it go because it does act as an antioxidant and acts as a synthetic compound as vitamin E. This also contains Paraffinum Liquidum which is technically mineral oil >< eek but I am desperate so I will use this and see if it makes a difference >< I'm supposed to see results after using this for at least 3 months.

I like the scent though... smells like cinnamon =]

[EDIT: May 15 2011]
I'm not going to keep this product... I'm going to return it in on Friday... I've been pulling it off and not using it because I just couldn't get over using the ingredients on my skin lol I keep staring at it and thinking how horrible the ingredients really are.

and this is what I wore to the grocery store =] awkward pose... I know >>

Lovely Lavender

It's been raining all day =[ and will be raining for the next 4-5 days ><

new haircut, yay =]

Even though you can't even see it properly... =p

I finally had the chance to wear my black ankle boots with my awesome new leather/denim jeans? lol I'm not sure what you would call them. I got home after my new haircut and my parents were like, "you cut your hair? it looks the same" and I'm like "what!? I cut 5-6 inches off... o.o"

how can my hair look the same!? -.-

I also added 2 new wallpapers =] I made the 2nd one today.

"50% of the net profit from the sale of our charms goes directly to our cause partners. Altruette’s partners include established national non-profits as well as smaller groups with talented leaders and ambitious plans to change the world." - Altruette

I think is is a more fashionable way to show that you care for a certain cause, foundation, association, and what not. I know many organizations are constantly wanting to spread the word of certain issues around the world through clothing and accessories.

1-2 months ago, my dad was talking to me about how some organizations spend their money on useless things to thank him for donating money. He received envelopes and stationary letters from an organization for donating money for a certain cause (I believe it was for cancer research). He was not happy to receive them because he thought that his money was going towards a good cause and not on useless pieces of paper he was not going to use (he gave them to me). I can understand his point of view because when an organization starts to put in so much effort on thanking people by giving them useless things, the money could have gone to the research itself.

I know we need to promote certain causes and find appealing ways for people to pay attention to these issues we have in the world. I like that Altruette is putting 50% of their profit towards the organization(s) you choose to buy a charm for. Their charms are also made from recycled silver and gold.

These are just some of my current favourite items from the Forever21 Canada website =] The weather is still kind of cold where I live =[ I'm not really feeling the spring just yet... maybe just the beginning because at least I hear birds chirping outside of my window =]

I just made a new page called FREE GRAPHICS :) (located on the sidebar under WISHLIST <3). I put all the wallpapers I designed on the page for easy access.
